Upgraded to WordPress 3
And seriously, it was the least exciting upgrade procedure ever.
Backed up the database using phpMyAdmin, downloaded a copy of host's home directory using cPanel, and clicked the upgrade link inside of WordPress itself.
And it works fine.
If only all software upgrades were like that.
